Shipley Weavers

A few members meet in the workroom at the Shipley Art Gallery Gateshead on the 2nd & 4th Wednesday of each month at 10am – 1pm. If you are interested please drop in for a chat and a coffee (free).

Durham World Heritage Site Visitor Centre

Members of the Guild meet regularly to demonstrate various methods of spinning and weaving at the World Heritage Site Visitor Centre (Durham World Heritage Site Visitor Centre, 7 Owengate, Durham, DH1 3HB). We meet on the 4th Saturday every second month – Jan, Mar, May, July, Sept, Nov.

Informal Gathering at Cafe Ustinov

Durham Guild are meeting for fibre chat and coffee on the 1st Thursday each month at the Cafe at Ustinov College, Neville’s Cross, Durham. The Cafe is open to the public and there is on-street parking. We will be meeting from 11 am till 2 pm. The food and beverages are very good, and very reasonable so we hope you can come along and join us!

Saltholme RSPB Reserve

Just like the Ustinov get togethers, we meet at the RSPB Centre at Salthome for some fibre-fun on the last Saturday of every second month….in February, April, June, August, October and December! Come and join us….it is a lovely venue!
