Return to St Oswald's Institute

Updated: Nov 26, 2021

On Saturday 2nd October we returned to our normal meeting place, St Oswald's Institute Church St Durham DH1 3DQ. it was an Open Weaving & Spinning Day from 10.00am to 4pm, with demonstrations of spinning, weaving and warping a loom.

We were thrilled to have 19 visitors, in addition to our regular members, which, after such a long period of having to meet online, gives us so much to look forward to in future. As always, regular members were happy to share their experience, but the big opportunity was provided by Cia Bosanquet, one of our most experienced weavers who demonstrated warping a loom.
