*These workshops can often have limited places and need booking well in advance. A £10, non-returnable deposit is required to secure a place. Please contact the secretary. Workshops are open to non-members for an additional fee.
A few members meet in the workroom at the Shipley Art Gallery Gateshead on the 2nd & 4th Wednesday of each month at 10am – 1pm. If you are interested please drop in for a chat and a coffee (free).
Durham World Heritage Site Visitor Centre
Members of the Guild meet regularly to demonstrate various methods of spinning and weaving at the World Heritage Site Visitor Centre (Durham World Heritage Site Visitor Centre, 7 Owengate, Durham, DH1 3HB). We meet on the 4th Saturday every second month – Jan, Mar, May, July, Sept, Nov.
Saltholme’s Nature Reserve Woolly Weekend
Durham Guild hold demonstrations and hands-on activities each year at Salthome. This year it 7 & 8th July 2018
